With the start of fall and school, more people are cooped up in indoor work environments. Indoor air and building hazards beyond colds and flu can cause on-going illness and discomfort for workers. Indoor hazards including mold, asbestos, lead, radon, VOC’s and formaldehyde are high on the list of building suspects. This talk will briefly review each of the hazards, its potential to be in your workplace, and the maze of rules to determine when to be concerned, what is required, when to test and who is qualified to deal with these issues in the workplace.
