Topic Description : Emergency Preparedness, including Active-Violent Threat

Join Kristi Lachenmeier of HeartLINK Health Services and Brian Hollis, Captain/Paramedic, Tactical Medicine Instructor as they discuss Hot Topics in Emergency Preparedness.  We are not talking about how much water to have stored in case “The Big One” hits, we will be discussing  trends for reacting to and treating Life-Threatening Medical and Traumatic Emergencies and how this may impact workplace safety programs.  We’ll cover Active-Violent Threat (previously called Active Shooter), new trends in CPR – including High Performance CPR, Opiate Overdose, and new(er) options for bleeding control.
